Vintage Explorer model 1016 from the 1960s, with correct 1570 calibre movement. This 150xxxx case number watch comes with a later service dial and Oyster 78360 bracelet with 580 end-links, probably fitted prior to the watch's service through Ernest Jones in July 2003. The watch still retains the Rolex UK service slip and Ernest Jones receipt from that time. Please note the we no longer guarantee watches with plastic glass like this to be water-resistant. Supplied in a plain box with our own warranty card, too. The NEW equivalent Explorer is available for £4,300 but this 50 year old piece will be of greater interest to collectors, who might never look at a current model.
