VINTAGE 5513 SUBMARINER SET ! 1981 model 5513 stainless steel non-date Submariner with superb, original 660ft=200m dial ( correct, flat luminous markers without white gold surrounds ) on Oyster Fliplock 93150 bracelet with 580 end-links. Correct 1520 calibre movement and Rolex UK service marks inside case-back suggesting that it has been back to them in September 1984, June 1992, February 1995 and November 2003. BOXES and PAPERS! Yes, this watch comes with the sea-horse box-set, numbered green swing-tag, the original punched papers from January 1981 and a small assortment of purchase / service documents AND the original english-language Submariner booklet ! This alone is a valuable document worth several hundred pounds -- it features a number of key models like the Double Red Sea-Dweller 1665, the Red 1680 and the nipple dial 1680/8, as well as the 5513 model of course. The watch has a slightly marked bezel insert which is missing its luminous dot, but it is running superbly and we choose to leave such an interesting collector's piece in the condition in which we find it. Rarely do such sets come to market, but they have for many years proved to be a sound investment as well as providing joy to the wearer.
