All-original 18ct yellow gold Day-Date model 18348 with diamond bezel and a rare champagne dial, speckled across its entire diameter with diamonds. Complete with a new Rolex box-set, original Oyster manual & copies of the 2008 Rolex service papers, this very rare watch was sold by David M. Robinson in 2002 -- over ten years after it was first made in Switzerland. This peculiar phenomenon is quite common with the most expensive Rolex models, which authorised dealers often struggle to sell for the huge new prices.
